History

Cross Creek was founded in 1989 by V. Jack Shadwick. Cross Creek's centerpiece, our P.B. Dye designed golf course, opened to rave reviews on October 20, 1990. 

The name "Cross Creek" comes from the three creeks (Perkins, Reedy Fork, and Coneross) that meander through the property that was once rolling farmland.
